Yes Mare, I have some info on the Lacon family, Joseph married Mary Jane Mathews. Their son John Samuel Lacon married Mary Ann Coulson and had two children.

Hi Mare, My grandfather was John Lacon married Mary Ann Coulson. They had two daughters Mary Amelia and Ruth. Ruth Married Vernon Gray . I am their daughter.
Emily Coulson the youngest child of Marshall and Elizabeth Coulson married Wm Barker

Hi wizard.The above looks good to me.Joseph and Mary Jane also had William Thomas b 1846, Elizabeth Jane b 1849. I have been told this family went to USA before going to Canada. Can't find Elizabeth in Canada. Have been told she died 1872 William fought in the Fenian Raid battle between Can. and USA.My mother had his medal from Queen Victoria 1865. Joseph was a shoemaker also Wm .Joseph, John and his daughter Mary Amelia were all Post masters. I have walked down the road to the train station to throw the mail bag on the back of the train and receive the bag that was dropped off. The post office was in the house a for many year folk came to collect and post their mail. I would like to know what happened to Elizabeth and how the family got to Canada
