Hi Swami

I have sent you a private message. It has a contact email on it but I forgot to add the .com. There are two more generations that Mark has located and I will be adding it to this page in the next day or so. I miscalculated our degree of relationship - we are second cousins. Which child of Henry born 1862 are you?

Hi
I am the Grandaughter of Henrietta Lambert born 1895

Nice to meet you. Have changed my email address to suit this forum.

Are you in the UK? Lots of Lamberts still around in the London area, recently written a Second Cousin near Tottenham.

Hi folks. I have some conflicting information I'm hoping to discuss with the group here. I have an ancestor Henry Lambert, who married Ann Nutting [sic] in London in 1790. He had two daughters, Anne b. 1795 and Elizabeth (my ancestor), who was born in 1799 at Great Yarmouth.

Elizabeth Lambert's birthplace is noted on several census documents, and in both parish register and bishop's transcripts at St. Nicholas, Great Yarmouth. I had great difficulty in finding the ancestry of Ann Nutting, but eventually found that she was actually Ann Utting of nearby Potter Heigham in Norfolk.

The conflict I'm finding is with the baptism record you note in your research of Henry Lambert, son of Benjamin and Ann in 1771. I think that that parish record refers to my Henry Lambert, who was from Great Yarmouth. Your research suggests it belongs to a different Henry Lambert, who lived in Blofield. The link of him as a tinsmith to his silversmith father makes some sense, but I cannot find any other record of any Henry Lamberts on my side that make any sense at all? Is it possible there were two Henry Lamberts born around the same time in Great Yarmouth, one we have moving to Blofield, and the other we have going back and forth between Yarmouth and London? I have a death date for mine in London, but there is also a death date for yours near Blofield. Very confusing. Any thoughts here?
