Locating My Great Grandparents Family In Sweden

Query by smalloni

Hello,

I am trying to locate my great grandparents on my father's side of the family.

My grandfather Laurence E Wollner migrated from Sweden to the United States, Kings, New York in the late 1800 to early 1900's. He was born February 19, 1875 in Stockholm, Sweden.

His father's name was Albert Wollner and mother's name was Gabrielle Magnus. I have no other info on either of my great granparents but was told and in US Census records states that they were from Sweden.

I heard my grandfather Laurence E Wollner, came over to the US for something and had promised to go back to Sweden. Instead he met and married my grandmother Sofia Mathilda Ericson on January 18, 1913. They had 2 children a daughter, Dorothy Deloris Wollner and son, Laurence E Wollner Jr.. Sofia changed her first name to Sonia Mathilda Ericson.

My grandfather Laurence Wollner may have been a pastor/minister in the Luthern faith in Sweden. After migrating to the U.S. he was known as a printer and I know from his letters to my grandmother that he was selling documents/advertising printing.

He later died on November 23, 1938. If you have any information that may be of help to my research, it would be greatly appreciated if you would please contact me at smalloni@live.com

Thanks you
