Loking for info on Charles Clark(e) St Pancras 1810

Journal by teaurn

I think Clark(e) must be the most difficult name to research Sometimes they put an e and sometimes they dont.

It just adds to the complications already in place where people dont seem to get their age right. And vary their occupation

I have found Charles Clark on the 1841 and 1851 census with wife Ann in St Pancras occupation Brick Labourer but I cannot find him on the 1861 census I found the wife with the children but no sign of Charles Then on the 1871 census I think I may have found him with son Henry Clarke. but occupation Labourer His son James(1848) got married in 1869 and Charles is down as brick worker.

Does anyone else have these sort of discrepancies
