My mother Constance daughter of Annie Dean also came out to NZ on the Ionic in 1909 with the rest of the family I believe my Grandfather George Sutton and the eldest son John came out earlier to arrange housing etc.

Hi there, George & Amelia are my father's grandparents. Their son, Laurance born on 5th Jan 1887, (then aged 35) married Francis Bertha Knott (aged 27) in Christchurch, NZ on 28 Feb 1922 and they has four children. He have lost touch with anyone in the UK after his wife's death before WWII so I have no other iinfo at the moment.
