Looking for Anthony Wolkiewicz 1920 and 1910 census

Query by gbowdin2

My grandparents, Anthony Wolkiewicz and Mary Ciszewska were married in Buffalo,NY and moved to Kewanee, Illinois by late November 1916 when my Aunt Julia was born. Then came Frances and Edward before moving back to Buffalo by late 1923 when my mother was born. I can't find Anthony on the 1910 or 1920 census but the family shows up on the 1930 census. I have tried many different spellings of Wolkiewicz but can't find them. Any suggestions?

Anthony Wolkiewicz arrived in 1910 from Poland so may have arrive after 15th April 1910 which was the date of the census.

Mary Ciszewska Wolkiewicz arrived in the USA in 1913 from Poland so would not be on the 1910 census.

Dates of arrival found on 1930 census.

Do you know their parents names ?

Anthony arrived in January of 1910 ,but I can't locate him on the 1910 census. I know he came into NY because it says so on his naturalization papers and on the ship manifest. Mary and Antoni were married in 1916 in Buffalo then moved to Kewanee,IL by Nov.1916 because my Aunt was born in Nov. ,1916 in Kewanee. The next 2 children were also born in Kewanee. The last child was born in 1923 in Buffalo. I can't find them in 1920 CENSUS anywhere in the US. They are on the 1930 census. Their parents did not come to the US as far as we know, but I looked anyway. Could not find them. I wrote a letter to the vital records dept. Of Henry County for the birth certificates of my relatives born there in the period of question. The next step may be to write to their towns of origin in EUROPE. THANK YOU anyway for your interest.

Ancestry.com gave me about 20 different ways to spell my grandmother's maiden name ,Cizewski,in case any siblings or her parents came with her. I haven't been able to find her on any ship manifests either. I know she came in through NY as well. SHE TOLD ME an it was also on my grandfather's naturalization papers.
