Ive been able to go back as far Robert BARBER (married to Elizabeth FULLER) born in the United Kingdom around 1780, his son, my Great Great Great Grandfather was tried at the Norfolk ASSRES on 27/04/1825 for Housebreaking to steal rope and was convicted and sentenced to 14 years transportation, a reputed thief whom had been convicted before. He was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk UK in 1803, married Amelia TILLEY in Sorell, Tasmania, Australia on 07/09/1835 and died in Swansea, Tasmania, Australia on 04/10/1870, had 12 children.

Also after information relating to Romer BARBER b. 23/05/1898 in Cranbrook, Tasmania, Australia. Enlisted with the 40 Battalion AIF 10/10/1916 and was severely wounded (shot in the head) at the battle of Mt St Quentin 31/08/1917 but survived the war, he married Edith POOLE on 15/07/1919 and he died in Cranbrook, Tasmania, Australia on 21/02/1934, had 4 children.
