Looking for descendants of Batten family originally from St Pinnock Cornwall UK

Query by mervynbatten

I have been developing the Batten family tree and have got back to 1819 and the marriage of Thomas Batten and Ann Parkin in Lanreath Cornwall. There were five
children John; William; Joseph; Thomas and Philip. I am descended from the Joseph line. So far the birth of Thomas Batten is eluding me, but I am working on it.
I suspect that some descendants emigrated to Canada and a name that stands out is Albertis. I would like to hear from any descendants of the Batten family coming from this area of Cornwall.

Kind regards

Mervyn Batten

Hello Robcam
Thank you for the information, I will follow up on your information and see where it leads. The Batten family certainly appeared to be an adventuresome lot so some appearing in Australia would not surprise me.
Thank you

Mervyn Batten
