Hi - Its hard to establish which Jesse Brock and family you are trying to find . To give you an example -- In the 1880 usa census their are 49 entries . if we go to -- tribalpages.com we family trees with around about the same no - or if we go to just the surname brock we can easily find a thousand . If we go to Germany about the same . So we can find the name alright or the sur name but ubable to go further with no dates / places / or possible Relatives . so we can get a lead inon it - regards

I've been down this rabbit hole. My line does not have any Native American ancestry. My great grandfather was Jesse Cowen Brock. I had the DNA test and confirmed this. His father was George Washington Brock which, again, I have confirmed. Before that it gets muddy. I think his father was either a Jesse Brock or John Calvin Brock.

Maybe confirming if you have Native American blood might narrow down your search.
