I am related to Archibald Lindsay he was was my my great grandmothers uncle. My great great grandmother was Mary Lindsay who married George Sloan Tweedie and emigrated to New Zealand on the Jessie Readman in 1875 which arrived at Port Chalmers Dunedin.They lived in Green Island and then moved to Gore.Regards Lyndon Ansell .I would like to know more information about the Archibald Lindsay side and the connections to Jura.

Hi Lyndon, I have already replied re your mess. on 24/1 and have just realised this mess. was there. We are more closely related than you think - your gg grandmother, Mary was Archibald's sister. I only have her married to George Tweedie but didn't know anymore. Their parents were Donald Lindsay and Isabella (also Lindsay - so perhaps cousins??). Donald's parents - Archibald and Flory Darroch. Please contact me on the email address I have given you on the other mess.
