Hi, I have seen different dob for John B - from 1 Jun 1842 to 1850 on the Canadian census records. He married Sarah Jane Hudson in 1877 in Cumberland Co., NS, and the marriage certificate indicates that he was born in Bristol, GB to Henry and Susan Donovan (Henry's profession was a blockmaker). John B was a tinsmith and a plumber by trade. He died in Truro, NS on Mar 30, 1914 (death record states age of 66 yrs).

I don't have any other info on Henry and Susan -- I am not sure whether they were born in England, or Ireland and settled in England. Given that John's middle name is Brenton -- perhaps that is also a family name?
