Eleanor Steele Polsen married Dr John Frew Robertson in 1904 in Dunedin. She is on the list of female Polsen marriages. I am interested in any and all relatives. She is my grandmother. She and her husband moved to Australia and both died here. They had one child, Phyllis Eleanor Robertson.

Direx. I have been sick and consequently absent for a long time. I would like to know more details of your relationship with my grandfather John Frew Robertson. I think that would help me trace other family relatives. Are you related on the maternal or paternal side?

I'm interested to see the name Steele cropping up. My great grandmother was Martha Robertson who came to Dunedin from Co. Antrim Ireland. She married David Alexander, also of Co. Antrim, in 1887 (In Dunedin). Her mother was Catherine Steel; her father William Robertson. I believe that siblings: William (junior), Adam,& Agnes also came to NZ.

Could this be the same family?
