looking for elizabeth anne eden

Query by worm

I am researching my husbands family as he has no contact and on having our children almost 18 years ago they were born with a Mongolian birth mark which is normally Maori heritage but I cannot find that in my search so far. I have only 2 photos as family before me have burnt them. I am desperately wanting information and I would love photos. Elizabeth Eden married Frank Bonnington who had Minnie Bonnington who went on to marry George Selwood, they had a baby Frances annie royce who married Dudley William Best, they had Raymond Dudley (dudley) Best, he married Patricia McKay and had my husband Darren Best. I need the caps filled in with regard to where this birth mark came from and because I am a huge fan on photos I would love something to show my children. Please if anyone has information it would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to family tree circles worm,
who is that beautiful photo of?

there is a posting here which gives a little on the family of Elizabeth Anne Eden, but it also gives dates which others will find important when they want to help you

also, others may like some info on the Mongolian birth mark (approximately 90% of Polynesians and Micronesians are born with Mongolian spots)

Hi, and thank you so much for the information. The photo is Minnie (nee Bonnington) with husband George Selwood and baby Frances. My hunt continues with regard to photos and the birth mark, as I know that it is not my side of the family. There can be so many family secrets too and I fear that I will never know my children's heritage on this side. I really appreciate your help. Where do you fit in with regard to my husbands family tree? The photo is gorgeous I think, and Minnie is exquisite in her looks so this has had me curious since I got the photo when my children were small.
