Looking for Fox, Fritz, & Mossman with origins in Brown and Clinton Counties, Ohio

Journal by kdstackh

I am looking for any type of information someone might have on the Fox and Mossman lines that were located in Brown County and Clinton County, Ohio. I have connections to both in my Stackhouse line and very little is known. I do know that I have connections to Alexander Fox (1834-1921), Jacob Fox (1794-?), Margaret "Polly" Fritz Fox (1794-?), George W. Mossman (1820-?), William Henry Mossman (1863-1944).

Noggin, Thank you. Mae (May) is my grandmother, and yes Cora was a Fox. I am looking for more information on Alexander, his parents--Jacob & Margaret "Polly", Priscilla, and George Mossman. I should have mentioned Mary Neff Fox (Alexander's wife) in my post as well. I believe Mary's father is William Neff, but I have yet to get good confirmation. You may see that William Mossman was a bridge carpenter. He actually was a railroad worker and was on a crew working on a tressel bridge when he fell off the bridge and broke his hip. He died from complications of the fall.

Thanks again. This is all information I currently have. Mary Hunnel & Mary Neff are 3rd & 1st wives respectively with Rosa B. Johnson as the second wife of Alexander.
