We are looking for George Charles Davis:
we have found a match G. C. Davis born 1868 Forbes NSW
married Emma Sewell: Emma died 1898. he remarried Emma Baker ( he must have liked "EMMA" the records die there in 1900 . But in NZ we have a George Charles Davis in a relationship (never married, I wonder why) with My Grand mother in 1904. & 10 children were born till 1920 when he could not find work and the family was in deep debt: the family split up and the story that has been repeated by My Dad and my Uncles was that "George" went to Sydney to get his eye fixed ( not sure which eye)never to return. My dad and his sister search for him , even going to Sydney but never found him. So I am looking for a Davis Family Tree Adminastrator. If you know one chat to me please. or contact me on my web site www.davisfamilytree.org . cheers Ross Davis
