I've been looking for some time, without going through the parish records. I do know he was born around 1810 but I have 2 possible places, conflicting census returns, the first in Culmleigh and secondly Cheriton both in Devon. I do know he married Jane EVANS, and farmed at various farms around Willand, Devon until his death in Jan 1887. The last farm, Quicks Farm is still there as is his grave stone.
