Looking for anyone researching their LUSARDI line and in particular the LUSARDI line of Giovanni LUSARDI ( abt 1864-1891) who was married to Clotilde ZAZZALI born in Spora,Italy 1869 and died in New York 1954). They lived at 15 Comes Alley in Bloomfield (Newark), New Jersey between 1889 and 1891. They had 1 child, my grandfather Domenico (Dominick/Nick), born July 24, 1890 & baptized at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Newark. In 1892 Clotilde married Gerado BRUNI and had 10 more children.
Giovanni is my "brick wall". Several family sources have said he died from a fall while carrying bricks up a ladder to a mason. Having been to the New Jersey state archives and several county and local buildings I have yet to find a death certificate. Also went to several cemeteries with no luck.
