Looking for Grix in England before they Immigrated from Plymouth to Australia , on board the immigrant ship Nelson 31 Jul 1848

Journal by Neil1

Arrived in Point Henry Geelong 11 Nov 1848
Age in Ships records is 55 Years
Refer Public Records for this ship & Dates
Ship Nelson Report for the board of Inspection
Melbourne Nov. 28th 1848

The ships dispersal list of immigrants contains many names but the Grix family occupy the following numbers, but are all listed in family groups, this why the numbers appear to jump and leave gaps.

Also some of the headings of the columns are difficult to read therefore I can only surmise what they read by looking at the data recorded further down which appears to be the sex and age of the person listed.

Sorry : Lydia aged 35 Benjamin & Charles (twins) both aged 15 Henry 12, John 10 Maria 8, Caroline 6 and William 2. The whole family were born in Norfolk. They were living at Millgate Street, East, Aylsham, Norfolk. Father was an Agricultural Labourer and son Benjamin was a Bricklayer's labourer. Looks like GRIX was quite a NORFOLK surname,

Many Thanks for the Information. Can you inform me where you obtained this from?
Its a little hard to find out who, what, Where, from down here in Aussie!
Some of the ages seem OK but Benjamin who is recorded in the ships records in 1848 on board the Nelson. Benjamin (age 55) was the father, Lydia his wife (aged 46), all others their children.
Can suggest where I could find Birth, Death, & Marriage records from?
Many Thanks again.
