Looking for Hodgkinson Family

Journal by dguest

Looking for information on my great-great-great-great grandfather, John Hodgkinson. He was a United Empire Loyalist in the American Revolution who joined Burgoyne's Expedition in 1777. He later joined Butlers Rangers. He fled to Canada and settled in Grantham Twp. He supposedly lived in Mohawk Valley, N.y.

He had a son Samuel in Berlington, N.J. Feb. 23rd, 1775.

He married Mary Moore (mother of Samuel) then Sarah Spencer (mother of Francis and Robert)Francis and Robert both born Grantham Twp., Canada.

He had a brother William who was also a U.E.L. and came to Canada at the same time.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - dguest
