Looking for info on great great grandparents James Edward & Jean Gilfillian McCluskey

Journal by jcaddell

Looking for info on my gggrandparents James Edward & Jean Gillfillian McCluskey who went from Belfast Ireland to Glascow Scotland in 1870-1871. I have very little on James & Jean. My great granddad William Gilfillian McCluskey was born 1871 in Glascow Scotland. James was involved with the Peep O'Day Boys, he was a Orangeman with the Orange Order & a member of the Irish mafia the Sinn Finn. Because of his involvement with these organizations they didn't come to America thru regular channels, so there is no paperwork with Ellis island. I do know they came from Scotland to Canada and settled first in Trinidad or Cripple Creek Colorado & eventually moved to the midwest. I know my great-granddad William G, had 2 brothers James & David. Hope this info is helpful to some & might jog a memory or family story. Jennie Caddell
