i am trying to trace my grandmother mary phelan born around 1885 ireland,she married maurice condon and they lived in waterford city,had three children,william, mary katherine also known as kathleen and my mum mary also called mai,my mum married john joseph fraher. i am trying to find out what happened to my grandparents and my aunt/uncle,there was family talk that my grandmother went to new zealand.

There is one listing in the New Zealand Index to Births, Deaths and Marriages that is a possible match for your grandmother. Index number 1970/29243 is for the death of Mary Condon who died on 12/9/1970 at age 84 years. This would suggest her birth year to be about 1886 so the dates are a possible close fit.
