Looking for my grandfather Jack Grocott of Shrewsbury, Shropshire England

Query by drumjazz

Also known as Jack (or John) Groucott. 13 children in family: Wilfred, Ted, Annie, Dorothy, the rest unknown. Great grandparents given names unknown. Jack emigrated to Canada on March 17th 1910 aboard the S.S. Dominion.

His travel documents spell his name Grocott but the family used Groucott.

Wonderful! All new info for me. Please look back further on both sides. My grandfather told me that we were related to Morgan the pirate but that the records were lost in a fire. Great grandmother's name: Morgan! Many thanks, Owen.
