There was a James Bede MACGREGOR died in Redfern, New South Wales in 1949.
Parents were named as Duncan and Annie.

And there was a James D MACGREGOR and Elsie M BOOTS married in Petersham, New South Wales in 1912.

May be of some help.

Also located the birth of a James B MACGREGOR born 1883 in Ulmarra, New South Wales.
Parents named as Duncan and Annie.

Also found a marriage for Duncan MACGREGOR and Annie GRAFTON, married in Deniliquin, New South Wales in 1860.

This may be the birth of your James Bede MACGREGOR and the marriage of his parents.
