Looking for James Golden who immigrated to the US from England in 1886 and lived in New Jersey in 1910.

Query by afcarrico

He was the father of my paternal grandmother, Rosanna Golden, who married John Quinn in 1905. James was living with John and Rosanna in New Jersey according to the census of 1910 but I have been unable to find any information about him either before or after 1910.

Hello,

I don't know the name of James's wife, but believe they were an Irish family. I found a James and Rosanna who came to the US in 1886 from Liverpool, England when Rosanna was 8 years old. Rosanna married my grandfather (John A Quinn)in Philadelphia in 1905 and my father and his sister were born in Clementon NJ in 1908 and 1910. James was living with Rosanna and John Quinn at the time. But I have not been able to find any other information about James and Rosanna between 1886 and 1905 when John and Rosanna were married. Rosanna apparently died early in 1910 and John and the children moved to Philadelphia. I haven't been able to find a death certificate for either Rosanna or James and no record of James after 1910.
