I've had a look at the N.S.W. marriage records but unable to locate a marriage for Edward and Marie, nor can I find any birth records for their children in N.S.W.

I did find a death for Marie A MILLER, died in Sydney in 1923, aged 45 years, and I expect this will be the Agnes you mentioned.

May I ask where you obtained your information from regarding the marriage and children for Edward and Marie?

Thanks for taking the time, yes you are correct, the Marie Miller you mentioned is Agnes Marie. The information re children was from the Death Certificate which I obtained from BDM NSW plus information gathered thru family. Agnes is my Great Granmother, her second daughter Mona was my Granmother, Nan would never reveal any family history to anyone. I do beleive that Agnes was at some stage a Crowe whether this is her maiden name or she was married previously before (or if) she actually married Edward Miller I can not confirm. I have been unable to locate a Marrage Certificate for Agnes & Edward.
I will look forward to any information or help you can supply to me. Agnes's Grandaughter (my Mum) is 90 yrs old and is yearning to find out about her heritage. I have olny just started my search.

I found a couple of things for you to investigate, copies or transcripts will supply more details on each.

I couldn't find a marriage for Edward & Marie Agnes nor a Birth for a Bernard but he may have been born after 1911, no birth for Mona but there is a possible for her under a Nora but again you would need to purchase transcript or certificate to verify the details.

These are listed on the NSW BDM site

Births

16858/1898 MILLER EDWARD H EDWARD MARIE WARIALDA
16094/1903 MILLER NORA M EDWARD MARIE WARIALDA (possibly your Mona)
36994/1906 MILLER LESLIE MARIE NARRABRI (no father listed)
6128/1908 MILLER CLEMENT J MARIE NARRABRI (no father listed)
6800/1911 MILLER MAYFIELD MARIE A NARRABRI (no father listed)

Deaths
7476/1904 MILLER KATHLEEN V EDWARD MARIE WARIALDA
10447/1908 MILLER EDWARD H EDWARD MARIE NARRABRI
21553/1949 MILLER MARY HANNAH MARIA EDWARD MARIE GRAFTON (possibly your Marie)
10915/1980 MILLER CLEMENT JOSEPH EDWARD MARIE AGNES
7936/1981 MILLER LAWRENCE BOYCE ALBERT MARIE AGNES (fathers name possibly listed incorrectly)

The birth for Edward H Miller may be the better certificate to get it give you some extra clues on Edward & Marie.

Thanks to you for this information. Yes I beleive the Nora M Miller is my Gran Mother Mona as the year of birth is about right. I will be contacting the BDM NSW for the Birth certificate for Edward H, hopefully this will uncover some more information. Once again thanks for your help

Before you order from NSWBMD, if you don't need a certified legal document a transcript is always cheaper it does give you the same details but you just cant use it for any legal requirements.

Try this site for a transcript, it costs about $18 so it does save you some money I'm sure the NSWBMD cost between $30-39 depending on the information you provide.
