I have a Maurice Hardy in my tree who was born in hancock County maine and lived on Deer Island Maine,when he passed he lived in Florida. I went to school with his youngest child Lawrence (b 1934) and am Maurice's 8th cousin. He was married to Ruby Snowman. Children: Jean, Kay, Juanita, Lawrence, Stanley, Wilfred. I do know if there is a grain of help in this, but my GGP Charles Wesley Kilpatrick married Mattie Hardy somewhere around 1870? They moved to Massachusetts about 1890. I have been unable to find out any more about Mattie. Both were from Canada, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick.
