Welcome chezmccallum.

What details do you seek on the MCCALLUM line in Australia?
To assist with record searches it would also help if you included a few given names and a time frame to work with.

Thankyou so much for the above details. This is indeed the same one I am wanting some info on. Yes these are the 3 sons, I mentioned ealier. Roy is actually Reginald Roy, ( Aka Roy ), then Eric, then Ken. I have now found that the grave of Kenneth McCallum & the plaque for Reginald Roy McCallum is also at the Fremantle Cemetery. No significant info tho, only dates. I have also got the wives of these three men now, and a few army record numbers for Eric McCallum & an air force number for Reginald McCallum from his plaque.

The first Ellen Bryan you give is born 1893 in Fremantle, is the 1st wife of Alfred McCallum.
The second Ellen & Micheal are both Ellen's parents.
I believe that Michael Bryan was born in India Abt 1854 ???
& his wife Ellen MacDonald was born in 1956 in Guilford, Western Australia
Thanx once again... Chez

tonkin & Morgan2409
I am guessing that Alfred Taylor McCallum was not still with her at her time of death.
I have tried tracing him back to England , where his Father Albert was last known to be, but don't seem to find a trace on either of them or his mother. I have gone & got the marriage cert to get the names from, that is what I am going on. And as the 3 boys were raised in orphanages & separated in Australia, nobody has the info.

I have also traced this Alfred Taylor McCallum back to Victoria, going by his army records again, says his NOK was Alice by this time, but cannot find a death there either.

Forgot to mention I also found a funny story in the news in the Trove Newspaper about an Alfred Taylor McCallum. I am sure it is the same one.
Thanx guys

Lol, it sure was...I am married to a McCallum that I have Known for many years. We went through all our school years together...and it certanly sounds like something that family would do...lol...having a chuckle.I am quite sure it is deffinately him.

I have his birth date as a deffinate 13 August, but not sure of the year, as every time he re enlisted to another army regiment, he would change the year.
