Looking for McPheeters and Wineinger families of Jackson County, Indiana

Query by luvjj4evr

My grandmother was Harriet Ann (Hattie) McPheeters Bradley from Indiana. In the 1900 Census she is living with her uncle Henry T. Wineinger with her two born-out-of-wedlock daughters, Elsie and Nellie. Hattie later married Joseph Burney Bradley of Brownstown and Elsie and Nellie began using the last name of Bradley.

Hattie and Joseph had 4 children; Irvin Ivory (my father), Roy, Raymond, and Louise. All four of these children were born between 1902 and 1910. Joseph died around 1910/1911 and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Before his death in the 1990's, my uncle Raymond told me that Hattie's mother was Nancy Wineinger and I believe he said her dad might have been a Robert McPheeters. Evidently, my grandmother lived her entire life in shame because of the birth circumstances of her first two children and she never shared much information about her parents with her children. Any information would be appreciated.
