My ggg-grandfather Edward Bennett had a son named Hudson Bennett. Hudson married Elizabeth Melton/Milton. My ggg-grandfather is thought to be born in Elk Valley, Campbell Co. TN. His son Hudson was born in Knox Co. KY

I checked and Elizabeth Melton- "Lizzie was from TN. Don't have her parent's names yet.

My Meltons are from England to Charles City, New Kent & Albemarle County, Virginia. From there to Rutherford County, North Carolina then to Itawamba County, Mississippi, finally settling in Texas. If anyone is interested in Melton's from these parts of the country let me know!!
