Journal by keved2

The only info I have unearthed so far is an unnamed female was recorded as born to Michael Mcrennie (or Mcrenny), butcher, & Jessie Mcrennie (formerly Jessie Graham my ggrandmother) at Launceston, Tasmania. The informant was Jessie (her x mark) McRennie of Launceston, mother. The event was registered on 28 Jul 1862. Record No 274/33.

Hi keved2,

Not much on McRennie but here is some info.

The birth on July 9th 1862 was for a F McRennie.

The Tasmanian PO Directory 1896-97 shows an Alex McRennie having a store at Gladstone.

J Rennie born in Hobart around 1887/88 did a couple of trips as a crewman(fireman) on the ship Paloona from Hobart to Sydney in 1911 & 1912.

Regards
Gerry
