The tree commences with John Rugge at the Helm before 1376 as he had a son Nicolas in 1376 which is there erra of the younger branch of the family who came to Norfolk in th 49th year of EDWARD III. (another version is that the second era of the Rugge family branch came to England in HENRY II reign.

My great grand father was HERBERT STANLEY RUGG BORN 1872 he settled in Zimbabwe and had four children (my grandfather Robert Dennis Rugge was the last born). His mother was ADELINE PINN who married HAROLD RUGG in 1933 who was born in 1850. They had 4 other children HAROLD PERCY BORN 1874 who married SATO OF TOKYO (NO ISSUE), AFLRED HUDSON BORN 1876 married FLORENCE KATE ROE of BURTON ON TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE, GODFREY FAUSETT BORN 1878 who married SHELAGH HITCHIE IN 1919 (NO ISSUE) and EDWARD GEORGE BORN 1880 who married MAUDE DELME RADCLIFF and had two children.

There is a 'RUGG' COAT OF ARMS and family is said to take the name from LORDSHIP or HAMLET in the town of Pattingham in STAFFORDSHIRE and were of good degree.

I now reside in England and have discovered my living relatives off our branch but there are a whole lot more out there would be great to meet as the tree is very big and it would be great to meet those of the other branches and compare notes.
