Looking for Mullins or Mullens KY WV

I am looking for any info on Mullens/Mullins families from KY starting early 1880's. I have a Samuel Mullens/ins born around 1817 in Pike Co, KY and wife Jennie Unknown (believed to be Butler) born around 1828 in Harlan Co, Ky. Samuel had a brother James who was 14 years younger than him. Samuel and Jennie had a son Samuel who married Rebecca Payne daughter of James Payne and Elizabeth Sizemore. I am interested in finding out what family Samuel and James were from. There seems to be several Mullens/ins families who were living in Kentucky but none of them match my Samuel and James. Any help would be very very much appreciated since I have hit a brick wall with this family.
