Looking for Oo-wa-hoos-kee, Burchfield In NC & Tn.

I'm searching for more information on my 4th ggrandfather
Cherokee Indian and his wife Susan Burchfield. They lived in
Cades Cove,NC in the late 1700-1800's. I'm also looking for
other members of my Burchfield family in Tennessee,NC Ark.
and Georgia. There are some in Pa.Ky,SC. I would appreciate
any kind of help I can get.

his father was Andrew Jefferson Burchfield.

I am a direct decendant of Robert & Elizabeath Burchfield, who are buried in the Wilson-Burchfield in Cades Cove, GSMNP. My gg-grandfather was Robert & Elizabeath's son.

Wilson (Wilse) Burchfield was my ggg-grandfather.He lived at Samson Flats,in Cades Cove.What was your Elisabeth's last name before she married. If I had that I might be able to help you.

Looking for any info on America Burchfield who also shows up with maiden name of Johnson. I don't know why she shows in family records with both Burchfield and Johnson as a maiden name. She married Henry Taylor.
