My GGGrandmother was Margaret Simpson McGie. I am working on a heritage scrapbook so any photos would be so precious to have. I do have Margaret Simpson Mcgie and Charles Opitz.

My gg grandparents were Henry McGie (b1823) and Jean Anderson, Margaret Simpson's parents. I am descended through their son, maragaret's brother, Robert (b 1844) through his son Reginald Robert (b1893)who had my father Henry (b1925). I too have been researching the family especially Christina Tainsh,Robert's wife, and have also been trying to track down any pictures I could get copies of. I only have one picture of Robert and Christina and their family. I have found out quite a lot about our family history. Margaret Simpson, Robert's (1823)mother, in particular, has a very long and interesting family tree.
