You might want to try familysearch.org

If you go to rootsweb, and look under family trees. There is a tree for a Richard W. Stetson b. 12 July 1863, married to Ana Rady.
You might want to look at this, and if it is your family tree than
you can email the person and find their sources of information, etc.

This reference is indeed the Richard Stetson I was looking for and is my Great Grandfather. This source allowed me to trace back to the mid 1700's.

Now looking for Cornet Robert Stetson and descendants.
