Joe, just picked up up your mail now hmmm....interesting info. We were always told that we were displaced from Limerick by the same Cromwell. i dont have a Harriet Swabey in my line, however I do have a Thomas Sexton.

Hi Teresa, an ADDENDUM: Back in the 1960's, Maurice SEXTON, of Palmerston North, descendent from Thomas SEXTON/Harriet SWABEY, told me after his journey to Ireland that he had actually traced the Co.Clare SEXTONS back to Co.Wick - from where, apparently, one Cromwell had moved the whole population to Co.Clare for refusing to change from Catholic to Church of Ireland (Anglican). Maurice gave me some photos & a little info (as above) but then died before providing the complete details & as far as possible corroboration. Kind regards, Joe (ka949)
