Looking for Strickland family of Georgia (Muscogee, most likely)

Query by jdawn2002

I am in the process of searching for more information
on/about my 2X great-grandparents William Henry Strickland
(19 Jan 1846 - born in Douglasville) and James Vertis/Verdis
Dunn (18 Dec 1864 - born in Rockmart, Polk County).

They had several children, including my direct ancestor
Georgia Gertrude Strickland (later Crews - she married
Walter Franklin Crews). Other children were: James Madison,
Beatrice (died at birth), Lizzie Bell, Allie, Katy Novel,
William Henry, and Mattie Lee (died at age 2, buried in LA).

I believe the family worked in the cotton mills and moved around
quite a bit.

My Grandmother is Dorothy (Marjorie) Marie Crews, the daughter of
Georgia (Strickland) Crews.

I'm interested in any information about the family, or the
parents of my GGGrandparents (William and James).

I am also looking for information about Georgia (Strickland)
Crews husband Walter Franklin Crews - I'm unable to find
the names of his parents, or much at all about him.
