The cooksey family I am familiar with came from Cumberland County, Kentucky. Do you have any more information about them.

I'm also looking for this same family line, from Clinton County KY. My mothers name was Flora Cooksey, her mothers name was Sallie Shoopman. I don't have my grandfathers first name.
