Hi, Kate (Duffin ?)

My daughter saw your post and emailed me. I have been dormant in my Duffin research due to a very busy life. So I'm not very current and can't help you too much However, I have some sympathy for your quest.

The Duffin name in Antrim is as common as Smith in Canada and US, and that problem is compounded by the difficulty of poor records and the fact that it seems almost all males are named Patrick, James, George and a couple of others. Girls tend to be Mary, Elizabeth, Jane, and a couple of others. AND generations are named after the previous generations so that they all perpetuate the same first names and sorting out family trees is a minefield of false positives. Yikes! Good Luck.

Kate, would you like to check my journal? I especially made the entry because of your post. Do you see any connections?
Run the search string "Patrick Lee Duffin" to find me.
