Looking for the name of my Great Great Grandfather.

Journal by Assumption

I would like to get assistance in determing who my Great Great Grandfather is / his name.

My Great Grandfather, Ameal Budro b. 1847 d. 1926. Died near Liberty, Texas. Buried at Oakdale Cemetery, Diasetta, Texas, Liberty County Texas. Without a copy of his death certificate we are unable to determine Ameal Budro's Father's Name. i.e. What is the name of my Great-Great Grandfather? Agencies, persons are unable to locate this death certificate which should note Ameal's Father's Name. Ameal Budro's name was earlier Emile Boudreaux. Emile's wife: Mary Jane [Markentell] Budro.

I am guessing his Father's name is Bazile Trasimod Boudreaux b. 1819, Assumption, Louisiana.Bazile's wife was Adeline Boudreaux b.1822.

Many thanks for your prompt response! Ameal Budro [his 'Texas Name' / Emile Boudreaux was born in Assumption Parish, La.

He and his wife Mary Jane [Markentell] Budro moved to Texas abt. 1880, just after they married. Yes, I looked for him prior to his marriage, just as you did for the 1850 and 1860 Census.

It's great getting the names of Bazile's Parents, Joseph and Elonore.... thanks again.

Any suggestion how I might research Bazille's Parents? References prior to the Federal Census will be a challenge I'm sure.
