Thomas C. Tomberlin was b. about 1813 in NC. He was the son of James Tomberlin and Rebecca _____. Would really like to find her maiden named. Thomas and his brothers Eleazor Green Lee and John Wyley all served in Yell's Company in the War with Mexico. Thomas md. 1st Elizabeth E. (maybe Baker)Tucker about 1848 in AR. His first family disappears from the records between 1850 and 1860. The he md. 2nd Elizabeth Ritchie in MN.
The family of his brother Eleazor also disappears during this same time period. I found Eleazor and John Wyley, in the mining areas of Calfornia in 1860. Lots of mysteries connected with this family. Can anyone shed any light?
