Looking for Thomas Clark of Bristol, UK

Researching Thomas Clark born we think in Westbury on Trym, Somerset in 1810 or 1812. He later married Henrietta Erwin in 1834 and lived in Bristol. A possible relative and witness at the wedding was Samuel Abbot. I have a good record of his life since he was married but no record of his parents or earlier relatives. Anecdotally his parents were understood to have died when he was young and he was then initially brought up by an aunt. . Could be another Clark family as it seems that a Thomas , William and John were all freeman after ropemaking apprentices.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
