This would be my great-great grandfather on my mother's side. He was born in Ireland or Scotland, came to the US, married Honora Barnes, and was drafted or enlisted in the US Army. According to family stories, he died at Gettysburg. His one and only child was my grandmother, Mary Ann, who was born in 1863.
