Looking for USA link to English or German/Flemish Kable/Cabell/Cables

Article by KableWalker

I'm one of the many descendants of Aussie First Fleeters Susannah Holmes & Henry Kable/Cabell. I'm trying to find a link between the Cables etc, whatever spelling, who live in the USA and the English, Norfolk Kables/Cabells who traveled to the UK around the time of William & Mary of Orange from Flanders- originally German territory.

I found the Captain of a ship bring German emigrants to Australia was a Kable on Trove:
"Adelaide. Arrivals. December: 16 Bremen, barque, Hermann van Bickerath, 6000 tons, H. A. Kable, master, from Bremen and Rio de Janiero, with 294 emigrants. ADELAIDE. (1848, January 4). The Australian (Sydney, NSW : 1824 - 1848), p. 2. Retrieved November 28, 2014, from http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article37131937"

So many people from the USA say "No, not your Kables", but I would like to trace any possible links regardless of opinions!

Cheers
