Please visit our website at www.webbsurnamedna.org. I don't have any MD WEBBs in the Project that I know of. But if you email me directly at AWNRDC@aol.com with a query, I can put it in our January Newsletter. Remind me that it's for the Newsletter please! LOL

looking for Webbs from St. Agnes, Cornwall 1700's-1800's. Migrated to America late 1700's early 1800's-suspect to be tin miners, Methodist--first immigrant Daniel Webb.

We now have WEBBs from MD in the DNA Project. We don't have any with proven Cornwall lineages, but we have a growing number with known UK roots.

I am looking for anything on William Webb born 1776 in Rugby Warwickshire. He may have married Elizabeth Bradshaw. He was the father of my GG grandfather John Webb born 1808.
I am an Australian Webb.

Hi Annewn! I'm looking for the parents and siblings of MARTIN F. WEBB born 1800 in Pennsylvania. He's my 3-great grandfather, and is my personal WEBB brick wall.

Martin married JANE MCCURDY, daughter of the Revolutionary soldier, Robert McCurdy.

They married on 23 Oct 1821 in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, and lived briefly first in Fermanagh, then Armagh (townships in Mifflin County).

Finally they settled permanently in the Mifflin County seat, Lewistown, where they raised four children who survived into adulthood (others died as infants). These children were Lafayette, Martha, Thadeus, and Robert McCurdy Webb.

Anyone who can suggest who Martin F. Webb's parents (and possible siblings) were, and where in Pennsylvania they were living when Martin was born will receive my eternal gratitude!

Kate
