Hey Jude,

Check this site out. Shows William Hansen married Christina Woolf and at least the boy is mentioned here as Frederick Johann George born about 1833.
Frederick married Maria Clark.

He was in the Merchant Navy and I remember stories of him jumping ship to join the goldfields and here it is all in print.

This man and his wife had 12 children and down the bottom of the list is my grandfather Thomas Talbot Hansen. He married Olive Janet Johnson. They ahd two daughter Audrey and Beryl. My mum being Beryl. Her name is on this webpage and it is because she must have placed some information in one of the publications on the Hansens in Warburton. It is all good reading.

As to if this is part of your William Hansen I am not sure. It is interesting that you say they had a daughter Christina when in this family William married a Christina.

Keep in touch

Meredith
