Lost Lynch Family of Rowan Co. NC

Journal by JonLynch

In March of 1814 a Last Will and Testiment was written for a Daniel Linch listing a sister Judy Linch and a brother only listed as A. Linch. Now my Family line goes back to Andrew J Lynch whom served and died for the South in the Battle of Petersburg, Va. When he was younger and working as a Farm Hand or Laborer for the Shuping family he was accompanied in this house by a Judith Lynch whom was 60 years old and Andrew J Lynch just 21. Now to me that is a puzzlepiece. My theory is Daniel and Andrew passed and or fought in the war of 1812 and never came home. I have seen a listing for Daniel in the roster for the war but not Andrew. If anyone who knows of a Lynch Family missing three offspring say around the 1790's or may have seen the names Daniel Lynch-Judy Lynch- or Andrew Lynch and wife Margeret Gillian please let me know all records found in the Rowan Co Lib. History Room...
