Researching Lt. Wm. Milne (1763-1826) who served on 23 Royal Navy War Ships in his career; was born in Edinburgh, and relocated his family to Ancaster, Upper Canada in 1817. Challenge is to find a record of his birth in Scotland, as I cannot find the Parish even though I have searched every major record source possible. He was raised in Falkirk; his father Alexander Milne worked for the Great Carron Ironworks there. Any suggestions?
