to John GILBERT born 17 Jul 1854 at Raymond Terrace NSW Australia. He died 21 Oct 1891 at St. Albans NSW Australia.
I would like some details of her heritage as I only have names for her parents :

I may be able to help you out if you still need it. Alfred Martin STEEL, Lucy Jane's brother is on the family tree I'm researching. I have some details on the family back to lucy's GF James STEEL and GM Mary Greenwell, as well as some new info I am still confirming which takes the line back another 4G's to Michael STEEL born abt 1685.

Can't help with solid details but you might want to check Hoxham. I've never heard of that place, but there is a Hexham, which is half way between Newcastle and Maitland, and next door to Raymond Terrace.
