Margaret Josephine Cosgrove was a daughter of George Edward Hunter, a printer of Auckland
she was born in 1846 - she died in August 1926 and is buried in the Old Gorge Cemetery, Woodville

she married Patrick Cosgrove in Napier, 2nd December 1865

- in 1869 a Patrick Cosgrove was a saddler at Napier in partnership with Thomas Bowes, the partnership was dissolved and Patrick continued on with the busines
- in 1870 Patrick was serving on the jury

1872-1934 John Joseph
- in 1893 John Cosgrove had a perpetual lease on section 12 and 14 at Woodville, V.H.S.D.
- possible John lived in Masterton about 1903
- in 1902 a John Joseph Cosgrove married Rhoda Hobbs
- in 1918 a John Joseph Cosgrove married Margaret Manning

- married Maud Christina Nicholson in 1909

- as did a Joseph Cosgrove a saddler, and his wife Margaret in 1914

Margaret Manning may be my fathers aunt.

My father was Leonard James Cosgrove, his father was Leonard Patrick Cosgrove and his father was Patrick Cosgrove, saddler from TeAraroa, do you know if they are related to the Cosgrove's above. Leonard Patrick was b: 1884 in TeAraroa, D: 1972 in Ruatoria, have no info at all on Patrick??? Any help would be appreciated.
